Aligning my little heart to God's big heart in His love, joy, and peace

The Lord’s Prayer helps us to align our little hearts to our Heavenly Father’s big heart in His love, joy, and peace, so our beings are being formed by the Holy Spirit, following that all our doings would organically and genuinely reflect the character of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen

To be recalibrated

Can you spot an evenly balanced scale on Earth? Amos and Hosea prophesied, and our Lord Jesus delivers us. Only through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ can we be redeemed and justified, so the Holy Spirit seals and sanctifies our hearts for continuous recalibration by reflecting on God’s heart (who He is), guiding us to listen and associate according to God's just and merciful heart, who leads us onto transformative journeys of practicing proper and humane stewardship. Let us reflect on our Heavenly Father’s heart, be recalibrated by the Holy Spirit through our Lord Jesus Christ!

A journey from despair to hope (Luke 24:13-35)

This painting is to depict the Bible passage from Luke 24:13-35, of a journey from despair to hope. Christ is risen! Let us continue to recognize God’s presence in our daily lives! Luke 24:13-35 On the Road to Emmaus 13 Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. 14 They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. 15 As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; 16 but they were kept from recognizing him. 17 He asked them, “What are you discussing together as you walk along?” They stood still, their faces downcast. 18 One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, “Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?” 19 “What things?” he asked. “About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. 20 The chief priests and our rulers ha...

Rooted in Lord Jesus

The hymn "In Christ Alone" by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend came to my mind when I was pondering the anticipation of the "Philippians/Colossians" exhibit. Letters to the Philippians and Colossians, written by the Apostle Paul during persecution and imprisonment, reveal that Paul’s hope and strength were purely rooted in Jesus Christ alone. He fruitfully and fully lived out what he wrote in Colossians 2:6-10, “… just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.”  That is in alignment of...

Jesus’ arms are wide open, “Look upon Me, my beloved child, come towards Me!”

When we are dazzled while riding on a carousel.  Jesus’ arms are wide open, “Look upon Me, my beloved child, come towards Me!” When we are occupied by our chessboard of life. Jesus’ arms are wide open, “Look upon Me, my beloved child, come towards Me!” When we are submerged in the loud music of a band. Jesus’ arms are wide open, “Look upon Me, my beloved child, come towards Me!” When we are circulating around a loop, thinking that we are going somewhere. Jesus’ arms are wide open, “Look upon Me, my beloved child, come towards Me!” When we are building our towers. Jesus’ arms are wide open, “Look upon Me, my beloved child, come towards Me!” When we are dwelling in our dream places. Jesus’ arms are wide open, “Look upon Me, my beloved child, come towards Me!” Suddenly, the church bell rings! Jesus is everywhere, and He is with you always. “Turn to me and be gracious to me, as is Your way with those who love Your name.” Psalm 119:132
