“Everyone is welcome!”, everyone is welcome to meet with Jesus.
In the Old Testament, the Holy of Holies (the inner room) was covered by a veil, like a curtain, and no one was allowed to enter except the High Priest, once a year, to offer the blood of sacrifice and incense.
When Jesus died for our redemption, the curtain, woven from blue, purple, crimson, and white thread, and embroidered with cherubim (cf. 2 Chronicles 3:14), between the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom. (cf. Mark 15:37-38) Christ came as a high priest, He entered the Most Holy Place once and for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. (cf. Hebrews 9:12)
God has torn the temple curtain out of sacrificial love so everyone can meet with Him! Jesus died to redeem our sins, the temple curtain was torn, and He was raised from the dead on the third day. Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus, as the victor.
"So, friends, we can now—without hesitation—walk right up to God, into ‘the Holy Place.’ Jesus has cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The ‘curtain’ into God’s presence is His body." (Hebrews 10:19-21 MSG)
